We are hiring all over the US, and are not asking for you to relocate. We would like you to work from your own location.

About the Role

The Design Consultant is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience while maintaining a client book to generate revenue. You won’t simply sell our service, but establish your own success of being a pioneer in tailoring for both men and women.

• Business Development - Build your pipeline and meet sales goals by identifying key prospects, using simple outbound marketing, using basic in person approaches, attending networking events, and social media marketing
• Schedule and conduct appointments with prospective clients
• Perform polished and effective presentations (fully provided to you) to market The Tailory New York
• Measure clients (training provided)
• Complete and submit orders via our processing system
• Responsible for all second fittings and oversee any necessary alterations
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships

What We Are Looking For

• Motivation, drive and a desire to achieve financial success
• Direct sales skills preferred
• Client development and interpersonal skills a must
• Interest in clothing and fashion
• Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, set personal goals and work independently
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
• Retail experience a plus but not required
• An established clientele preferred
