I rode up to the top of Hawk Hill (923 feet!) from Kirby Cove at sea level to watch the Blue Angels and the Navy ships come into the bay, but the Blue Angels didn’t come until I’d already gone back over the bridge. I had volunteered weeks ago for the ice cream sales at Mark and Lu’s school at 2pm. Definitely going to repeat it next week with lunch and some snacks and try to stay a bit longer. It’s so beautiful up there.
